HotepYakub,
Here's the verse starting from verse 22:
22 And he said, While the child was alive, I fasted and wept; for I said, Who can tell whether the LORD will be gracious to me, that the child may live? 23 But now he is dead; why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me. (NKJV)
David was a believer, and would have gone to Heaven, the infant went somewhere after he died, after one dies he is judged (Hebrews 9:27). Both went to Heaven.

That's an interesting statement, there, Seven. I'll have to read up on that one. And Paquita there might find that interesting.

Paquitita1488,
How in the world did you arrive to that conclusion from reading my comment? Maybe you didn't, you possibly couldn't have!
It seems to me that you're trying to debate. I don't believe that infants go to Hell, this is demonstrated by the statement king David made after his son died, which more than implies that his infant child went to Heaven 2 Samuel 12:23.

So you believe that infants go to hell?

Jesse,
Arminius never denied the first and last points of the T.U.L.I.P. I don't see how my Arminianism isn't traditional. Anyway, I do enjoy your sermons, so I just want you to be aware that I'm not against your ministry even though we may have disagreements.
By the way, if you haven't, you should check out the website: The Society of Evangelical Arminians, there are some good resources you might like coming from the Free Will Theist side.

Yes I am not a tradition Armenian for sure. My theology is "Moral Government" and "Open Theism". Finney taught moral government and Gordon Olson merged it with the open view.
-
I probably wouldn't describe myself as Armenian if I were you. Armenians are just Calvinist-lights and believe in exhaustive foreknowledge (nonsensically combined with free-will).
Jesse,
As an Arminian I don't believe I can lose my salvation,
not all Arminians believe that. As an Arminian I don't believe I can "live perfect," I don't believe in Christian Perfection. And as for Free-Will, man isn't born with an innate Free-Will, God has to free your
will since men are born Totally Depraved, Both Wesley and Arminius held to it. I don't think Pelagians are considered Arminian, but both are Synergistic. I personally think Pelagianism isn't sound but that's off-topic.

My theology isn't traditional arminianism, but neither is yours. I certainly have agreements with both Pelagians and Arminians.
