Windows 7 fanboys seem to highjack Mac youtube vids. and what's worse is they have never tried Mac. I have both.

And Snow Leopard makes Windows 7 feel like old crap.

obviously you don't use windows 7 you're jus a fanboy who likes tries to convince others that his o.s of choice is the greatest when in truth hsim docke is trying to convince himself. people use what does the work at a price they can afford. want a mac get one they are good machines. try a linux distro not easy to learn but worth it dont want mac not too tech savvy for linux get a windows based machine

@jwmpexpress i have both operating systems,Mac OS X 10.6.7 and Win 7 Ultimate SP1.Mac Os it's good and fast,and Win7 TOO!In my opinion,you are the retarded type that u mentioned,that talks without trying...Windows 7 is fast,good graphics with any kind of options(i can make it even MacOs-like,,light,with an internet connection it will recognize anything i insert in my pc and it will auto-install driver in seconds...Nice and easy!Most haters(like u)compare SL with ME or XP that they remember...

First of all AnVir Task manager.. there is a free version (youl see why its really cool app)

And disable all autoruns.. (autorun and autoplay) :)

And yeah, windows needs care, but its great OS..

Its just is stupid how people (and mac and linux it self) shits on windows, when they dont even know how to use it..

I agree, that mac os is more simple user friendly, but common.. If mac had so many viruses, we would see how good it would be, to handle them :) but for windows all it needs is some little tweaks :P and its cool :P

There are just stupid windows users, who dont know even what startup is.. and installs all kind of shit to the pc and then complaining, that windows is slow.. sow SHUT THE FUCK UP, if you could take your head out off your fucking ass and look around you would see, that all programs put stupid shit to your pc, so windows is not the one that should be blamed.. SO SHUT UP PEOPLE.!!! I HAVE USED XP FOR 4 YEARS AND WIN7 FOR YEAR AND IT RUNS AS FAST AS 1ST TIME.!!

i think the point everybody is missing is, both operating systems are far from what they could and should be. Yeah theres some merit to the whole "which one is better?" argument; but in reality this is just the consumer being sedated with good enough. Rather the reality of it is, if the consumer on both sides of the fence scream bloody murder the products become better. To be frank, I've used both and both Os's have there merits but are being held back by the fanboy love affair.

well,snow leopard beats windows 7 in:speed,stability,richness in features,filesystem(no fragmentation),beauty.but windows 7 beats it in:security,ease of use,superbar beats dock,windows explorer has an adress bar unlike finder.but apple in my op will highly fix security in os lion.they patch really fast,they even made 2 patch records

Honestly, I have a laptop with vista. It was quite fas for the first year or so, then there were unnecessary things in my user folder, and shortcuts weren't deleted when I uninstalled something so it screwed up the whole performance altogether. I can't wait to get an imac.

@FlareOfDawn It is a myth, and the maintenance takes less than one freaking minute. Disk Defrag, that is something to do when you are away from the PC, at the mall or something. Virus scans? Avira is free, and you can scan while you game, no time consumption there, registry repair-takes a minute or two, once per month. Have you even touched a Windows PC?

@FlareOfDawn That's why you clean your registry and Temporary internet files. The whole "Windows slowing down" myth is BS. I have an old XP machine, and after 6 years of just cleaning files, It still runs like new.
