@MrSmokinitup dominicans are considered black latino. theyre considered both and are accepted amonst latins. some dominicans are lightskinned and some and darkskinned but i always look at dominicans like theyre latin. One main reason: language. all dominicans dark or light speak spanish so they are more accepted within our culture then lets say an african american who speaks only english.
Black? It depends who you are. My Father is full Borikua (PR) and he`s Black but not African Amercian, and my Mother is full Dominican and light skin. Black? Man, I`m from Philly so it`s like " I will say it when needs be". Peace!
Why are you being combative wit someone for an opinion AN OPINION that carries weight. Light-weight no less but still something. When I use N*GG@ I feel like I steal the power away from the oppressors. I took cahrge of it. Regardless I understand how my wiz and Granny feels about that garbage word.
With all due respect...PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE STOP USING THE"N'WORD?You make it harder for Civil Rights Activists(I'm caucasian for what it's worth)like me to fight for you.LOVE YOURSELVES& STOP using it so you can elevate yourselves easier. You're sabotaging yourselves&also make it harder for your fellow brothers & sisters to get up the ladder of life.~*~Respectfullly & Sincerely, Victoria Mary Stong /Humanitarian,Civil Rights&Community Activist fighting violence every day in every way possible.
