Dave is VH. But I saw this tour in 2004. It would have been a million times better if Eddie was in his mind and getting along with Sammy. The tension on stage was so obvious. Oh well, we got Dave in 07/08 to make up for it...BIG TIME!

other than the Gary era of VH both Dave and Sammy made this band worth listening to I cant wait for the new VH album hopefully the tradition continues

Yes indeed!! They both are good but for different reasons. Fact of the matter is most of my freinds feel the same way about Van Halen and always have. It wasnt until the net that we started to hear this Hagar vs. Roth stupidity!

finally a fan with some kind of sanity, I hate these arguments I see, if I'm feeling hard rock I listen to DLR, if I want more poetic etc songs I listen to Hagar, people should be applauding a band that can offer so many different things

I like Sammy, I like Dave...for different reasons. Why argue which version is better??? Its all rock and roll to me.

most of you must be crazy! Mike Anthony is a good bass player, but a big role he played in the band was there backround vocals for all of their best songs! so what the fuck!? we need him back and sammy back too! Sure Dave is a much better show man, but guess what, he sings like shit, and sam can still sing great!
