Would LOVE to spend a day with the elephants! I've been involved with the Daphne Sheldrick Wildlife Trust for awhile now and am passionate about anyone whoďťż is working toward protecting these magnificent creatures.

Zoos are never big enough for elephants. These beautiful pachyderms need room to roam. I wish Woodland Park Zoo's board of directors would do the right thing and let them go to a sanctuary. And please, please, have a heart,ďťż stop this horrible insemination program. A new baby, like Hansa before, would be doomed to die. Stop this insanity if you love your elephants and give them the freedom of a sanctuary!

No reliable study has ever shown that seeing a elephants in aďťż zoos will result in people donating to the conservation of elephants. This is an aspiration by zoos, not a fact. . There are wonderful organizations, for example, that hunt down poachers and others that buy up large swaths of land to preserve migratory routes â that is how we will save elephants â not by making the ones we claim to care about, suffer.

Seeing the elephants in the zoo with such small area to roam and locked in their pens for several hours a day doesn't inspire me to support conservation, it just upsets me. Zoo environments are terrible for elephants, and the lifespanďťż stats make that VERY clear.

Thanks for this video. Zoosďťż need to make statements like this every day, and speak out as loudly as the anti-elephants-in-zoos people do.
