  • Excellent question. The largest pot I've used with the stove in modified form is a GSI Pinnacle Dualist which is 5.5" in diameter x 5" tall, and after making sure the stove was level didn't have a problem with it being top heavy. I think using a larger pot (>6" diameter or height) would likely be unsafe w/o constant attention or having the stove secured upright in some fashion.... I think I'll look into this over the weekend. Thanks for asking!

  • was thinking of doing this mod to my swiss stove but I was wondering is that thing going to start getting top heavy?
