David - The Head Waiter

This is a remarkable piece of film insofar as David (the head waiter at The Old Cellar, Los Huertos 33, Nerja) had not played the piano for 8 years before this. I had originally seen him perform in this restaurant in 1993 when he was 12 years old. There was no real explanation why this exceptional young man suddenly gave up playing the piano 8 years ago except I suppose lack of motivation. To suddenly sit down at my request to play like this is quite remarkable.

So if you are on the Costa del Sol and anywhere near Nerja call in this delightful restaurant with quite wonderful service and a great meal and ask the headwaiter to play a tune or two. He needs the practice!
