The first half is 1-3rd gear without spraying. The second half I am spraying nitrous with the 65hp jets.

Yes.. nitrous in a rotary. Just as safe as any piston car and but a HELL of a lot more fun.

I should add not all Honda or Mustang owners are douches, it's only the ones that make themselves known and talk shit because they "heard something" or because it's cool to talk shit on a Youtube video, or even because they are flat out jealous. @Brutality110 This was taken 2 years ago. I no longer have this setup on my car. The reason I couldn't go higher then the 65 jettings at the time was due to ignition issues. The ZEX module is not able to adjust ignition timing on the RX8 and the ignition timing needs to be retarded to accommodate higher shots.

The amount of ignorant kids on Youtube still astounds me. Just so ya'll know I'm erasing all non-constructive comments. I don't want to hear about your "4 door walking my car" or "the car is still slow" or "the rotary (spell it correctly please) sucks)" or "my honda looks better then your car" etc. because frankly I don't care! You drive a POS Honda or Mustang or W/E and I drive a true sports car (with 4 doors to boot!). Go cry on another videos' comments, not mine. The end.

I know the posts that come from the fanbois. "My neon is faster." My so and so with turbo is better. First thing you have to know about the 8: it's not a drag race car. It will walk all over your neon or civic or whatever on a track. The 8 is a handling sports car of epic proportions. When you come up on a curve and slam on the brakes, the 8 cruises right through the turn and leaves your FWD wiggling and wobbling trying to get traction.

@alz0rzz im a mustang owner, i would never own a honda, but i LOVED my old RX7, crashed it a while back, but still, hell of a car. rotaries will always be a part of me, im just waiting for the day when i can afford another 1987 Black RX7 Turbo II with a sunroof. i want an exact replica of my old one. right down to the dual borla exhaust and kumho tires<3 see, some of us have respect for the rotary

@Cclebron It becomes addictive actually, I find it only gets annoying on a track when you're staying in the high revs a lot. But when you own one, you end up loving a good old beep.

i bought a 2009 rx8 r3 last year and i love it. I had 30k to spend and i could of bought any car in its class that i wanted. i did my research and even read 1000's of douch bags shitty comments towards the rx8. After test driving a 2008 350Z gt convertible which was one i was considering after reading all the nasty comments online. i then drove the rx8 and wow it was a a bette car in every aspect. i now read the comments and laugh cuz they prob never even been in one let alone redlined one.

I've always liked the looks of the RX-8, neat to see one in action (well at least the speedo) with Nitrous. I'm way too much of a chicken to put NOS in my car, at least as long as it's my only car. Feel free to check out a video or two of mine, I have an almost-stock 08 Mustang GT. What other modifications have you made to your engine besides the Nitrous? My next step's gonna be a nice throttle body to replace the stock one.
