@84pokedude It's because the Japanese writing and phonetic system doesn't have any official sounds for V and L. That's why they write Victini like Bikuteini, because that sounds the closest to Victini with what the Japanese language has available (just translate the Katakana in this video and you'll see. If you don't know katakana, you can use a table like the one on Wikpedia :P)
