  • WHERES THE MONEY LEBOWSKI?! WHERES THE MONEY?!

  • I think she is wonderful, beautiful and I have never heard a legato as this. It is devine. He is fantastic and I see and hear deep sadness in his face and voice. Thank you for posting - a gem, a priceless recording...

  • I havemy own Korngold playlist that I dip into practically every day. This will be played at least once a week, though perhaps not as often as Stephan Genz singing 'Mein Sehnen, Mein Wahnen' from the same opera.

  • really lovely... beautiful job by both singers... and the orchestra too

  • I was a tremendous fan of Julia Migenes (Johnson) in the 80s. An outstanding singer/actor. And then...she disappeard.

  • Kollo is, of course, one of the great Heldentenors. I get the feeling, however, that Migenes is generally underrated. On the basis of this video, and her CD of The Seven Deadly Sins by Kurt Weill, I will say that I find her very impressive.

  • amazing! Bravi!

  • And what a wonderful frisson that postlude creates as a parting gift. It moved me even in the face of the Imp Of Free Association's calling to my mind an old commercial jingle at the last two notes (....choooooocolate.....!).

  • I love these astute comments that go along with mine. Bravo for great art.

  • This is one of my favorites on all YouTube. To think what happened to Germany after Korngold escaped to the U.S. I love the mood of this masterpiece. Just hit the REPLAY button and listen again.

  • wunderherrlich! bravi Julia und Rene
