FInal Fantasy Versus XIII NEW Trailer

"Final Fantasy Versus XIII" is a different game from "Final Fantasy XIII", and its release date is yet unknown. although there seems to be very little in common between the two, they're both part of a big project by Square Enix called "Fabula Nova Cristallis". Versus promises a more traditional approach to RPGs than the controversiall FFXIII, with a world map and less linear progression, and its battle system is reminiscent of the Kingdom Hearts series. actual gameplay footage of Versus has never been released as of yet, although parts of the scenes shown are rendered in real time , with the in-game engine.

@Loki5302 They HAVE made up their mind when they're going to release it. Nomura confirmed there has been a date set, it's merely not known to the public. And my guesses, we would have to wait a year, end '12 until they decide to release it in Japan, let alone USA and Europe.

@demon2thousand well either that was incorrect, out of context, OR they are working on two games for kingdom hearts at the same time, because the next one is kingdom hearts reconnect. maybe the person being interviewed accidentally slipped and called it kh3 because sora was coming back? idk i suppose you could be right, im just lettin you know what I heard ^.^ may teh best man win >=D

@demon2thousand ? I saw somewhere in a guidebook...they had an interview with Nom- and he said production of KH3 would start right after versus was finished.

@INCAxBEAST no it wont, the next kingdom hearts games have already been NAMED none of which are named KH3 and the creators STATED that KH2 was the last of the series because the first series was all and only about sora finding his friends and the king then getting back home, if there is any more games to this, it will just TIE INTO the original series :3 sora will be in the next one but it is going to be called kingdom hearts reconnect (im guessing its titled that because we reconnect with sora)
