DONT' MISS THE ENDING: In nature, its usually the preditor who attacks. But in this oft-repeated scene, the rolls were reversed.
One of our juvenile Bald Eagles in Pembroke Pines, Florida, came under attack by a single Mocking Bird. The assault was soon joined by a second Mocker, along with a family of Grackles.
The event was captured at 7:20 pm on May 2, 2009 while interested onlookers and I watched from Pines Blvd. Sorry for the traffic noise.

I saw the same thing one time with a hawk being attacked by mockingbirds.
