I worked at a certain sandwich shop last year for a few months. I had a sandwich thrown across the counter at me because they said their bread was too hard. It was fresh bread. It wasn't hard at all. I had one costumer tell me they wanted peppers on their sandwich, when I asked which ones they yelled at me and said the green ones dumbass... Yeah we have green bell peppers and jalapenos... I got tipped a beer one night and that was the best tip I ever got there.. I like your cat. He's pretty...

I'm so picky I always go with brown bread, veggies and cheese. ;) And not all veggies either. But at least I know what I want and don't want. ;)

The tipping system in the US confuses me... Is there some place one can learn about it? (I'm asking, as I am planning on visiting the US in a not too distant future).

People don't tip at fast food places because they are slaves to convention. We are taught to tip at fancy shmancy places but tips are never mentioned when it comes to GenericWay or McFood. Just keep spreading the word and maybe things will change! :)

Anyone who is or has been in a food industry related position feels your pain. I don't understand those who stand in a line and don't contemplate the whole reason why you're there and figure out what they are wanting either? Seems kinda idiotic on their part YET on some deeper plane a commentary on life in general. Side note I always tip my sandwich maker- then she makes my sub that much more better...nicer pickles - extra squirts of Sweet Onion sauce.
