YEAH my homie wrote the music for this. And it makes sense. The scene is idealized urban life in Manila, the capital of the Philppines, in the late '70s/early '80s. (The musical is set in the Phillipines during Marcos's Martial Law administration, 1972-1986)
Scene 1: Kid on the street (red hat), basketball players (to the left) jeepney (the infamous Filipino public transportation), street cooking (on the right)
