I don't know why, but hearing this song makes me feel nostalgic for a time that i have never even lived through. In its simplicity and almost likening a peasant folk song, it makes me feel Marie Antoinette's passion and desire to do away with so much of the fuss of Versailles and to return to simpler times. Long Live Marie Antoinette!
