    Sucks I got a new computer with directx11. It sucks. I want to sell it because I got about 200$ worth of new games and was not aware of this software, thanks family...

    For those who don't get the obvious: The reason that there are so few games making use of the capabillity and new features of DirectX 11 is, that most games are multiplatorm games. That means they also have to work on consoles that are SEVEN years old and only support DirectX 9. The reason most of the games are developed for consoles first, instead of vice versa, is beyond me. DICE did it with Battlefield 3 - developed for the platform with the most capabilities (PC) and then ported it "down".

    @LoboLoko007 XNA isnt a new API. Its using dx9 internally. And no, the xbox only supports "dx 9.5" which XNA also uses to make xbox development possible.

    Too little too late not to mention many games that "support" dx11 doesn't use those features so they are basically a dx9 game
