I hope that when the Blu Ray comes out this month of the Greatest Saga in History, that at the end of Return of The Jedi, they show Anakin and Padme together just like they did here. That would just be perfect.

They show them together and when Leia walks up to Luke who's looking at them, Leia sees them as well. That would just make everything perfect.

I agree with you my friend...Lucas was very smart in the way he brought the saga to llife by introducing IV, V & Vi first. We all would never have grasped how evil Vader truly was if I, II & III were shown first. He was the ultimate evil...a ruthless and unmerciful killer. Anakin was so deeply suppressed beneath the clutches of Sidious' deception, it actually did take the combined strength of Anakin & Luke to defeat him, at least thats the way I see it.

@LvEternity ok im gonna attempt to agree with you, but because of the very fact that we are introduced to darth vader first and in episode v, he says "with our combined strength, we can end this destructive conflict and bring order to the galaxy," we know that if he was never shown to us as being a good person originally and given us a legitimate reason to like him other than just being the protagonist, this wouldnt reinforce vader's character in the original trilogy; it would undermine it.

My friend,

It is obvious you have a problem with the evolution of the character Anakin to Darth Vader, then Anakin's true self being redeemed. Leaving Padme out of it...I believe (just as , obviously Lucas does) that love overcomes evil in the complete story of the Skywalker family. I understand & accept Anakin's desire for control, which was the determining factor in his turn to the dark side, but his deep fears of loss was the beginning of it all & He was the chosen One.
