    This is the LP that ended the (musical, etc.) "generation gap" between me and my father.

    Mandel should have been a Guitar God, with all the others.

    Sugarcane Harris is on exactly half the cuts of this double LP, and is, as L. Feather said, I believe, in the liner notes, the "cathartic element that holds it all together."

    Mayall plays bitchin' Hammond organ on this track, as well.

    He shapes the dough in an eccentric mould, bakes it at required temperature, serves it in Hendrix' signature riff tray.

  • 42 yrs on and still the words mean more today...nothing's changed!

  • second best song on the album violin-wise. decent guitar too. but it's the lyrics that get to me.
