@ktloveland It's the anonymity, it acts on people like drunkenness. :P We're on here representing Christ, if you click through my name you see my channel which links to the rest of my online life. I have to watch what I say for my testimony to my savior. :)
You are welcome! I'm praying that too. :)

I am a hearing student at Gallaudet U and I truly enjoy watching how each individual person signs differently and interprets concepts in different ways. I love this song and I love the way your signed it. There is a deaf poetry night in DC that you should go check out the videos for at bus boys and poets. i think you'd be great preforming there! Best wishes and keep being a light to the deaf community for our amazing Savior. Look forward to seeing more!
Brilliant job! Your expression and body language were both well done and conveyed the passion and voice of the music very well.
I would suggest a different synonym sign for 'lord' though. When you raise your other hand during the sign for lord that you are doing, it specifically designates it to God, instead of including earthly lords (like landlords). The other thing is to direct your 'you' sign upwards instead of outwards to the audience, because you are talking to God there, not the viewer.

@siremethmimetes I didn't do either one of those things...BUT I can see how it kind of looks like that a little bit. I can see how it might look like I was pointing outward a little I kept point to the direction where I had already designated God. I used a lot of dramatical V in this song to convey I was speaking to the Lord. I even turned my body a little bit so it was facing that direction. Thank you for making me aware of those things. I did this video a long time ago.

@ktloveland Ah, yeah. When I learned ASL my teacher recommended addressing God over your head (when singing anyway) as it embodies the mood of worship more.
Oh, and sorry, I was recommending that you raise your other hand, not saying you shouldn't have done it. I should have made it more clear. :)
You know ASL a lot better than I do, and I love your videos. I'm just pointing out a few things I remember learning way back. :D

@siremethmimetes That is perfectly fine. I don't mind a lil constructive criticism. Interpreters are supposed to do that so we can become better. Also its good that you were able to notice things like that bc it shows that you are learning a lot yourself!

@ktloveland Oh good, didn't want you to feel like I was attacking you or anything. The atmosphere in youtube comments is normally so defensive and banal it's hard to assume anything else. :D
I love the language, and want to learn more. It's a bit hard to find the time now, though.
God bless! And thanks again for the video. :)

@siremethmimetes Ur right it is. Even on some of my videos I get horrible comments from ppl who I think are just trying to start a fight. Thank you for you support and I pray that are able to find the time to learn more of this beautiful language! God Bless!
