  • I loved Tex Ritter. He was born in Panola county in East Texas. A very lovely part of the greatest state in these great United States.

  • he does look like his son

    John Ritter

  • I always love this Artist thanks for posting. Im from Ireland and not familiar with American Politics what year is this ...

  • Tex ran for sentor of Tennessee!

  • john ritter was born when tex was 43.

  • I never heard Tex Ritter speak like this! But he talks exactly like when he announced Johnny Cash on his TV show many years before this. This voice was so unique, not only when singing, also when talking.

  • P.S., Roy Acuff ran for governor of Tennessee in the 1940s as a republican. He didn't win.

  • I'm a little confused. He talks about Albert Gore, Sr. and Bill Brock. Brock beat Gore for the Senate seat in Tennessee, but you say he ran for governor.

    ???

  • I get the feeling there must have been quite a generation gap between Tex and his son John.

  • Tex!
