I think it's about feeling that you're left out, and for so long, you thought people were your friends, but they ignore you and leave you. You don't feel strong enough to voice this, and you feel as though if you spoke up more this wouldn't happen to you, and everyone else is just the same. Pretending things. Pretending to be friends, pretending to care, or just pretending to be something they aren't.
