Driver, Undercover, Rite Of Passage (NY#5b), Sony PlayStation

From the game Driver on the Sony PlayStation, one of the penultimate Undercover missions: Rite Of Passage. The mission follows on from either Take Out Granger's Boys or The Negatives. Rite Of Passage only appears if a certain decision was made when first entering the New York setting. If the player chose to play Grand Central Station Switch as the first New York mission then the player gets Rite Of Passage. The alternative route is to get The Ali Situation by way of player choosing to play Luther's Heap of Junk as the first New York mission. Rite Of Passage is the longest single drive in the game, requiring a cross-New York jaunt of around five minutes.

2:44 you would've saw that coming if you just used the Bumper camera. Why does everybody wanna see outside the car ?? I can't drive like that, it's a must I make it as realisitc as possible

It is more about seeing *everything* than it is about realistic driving. The outside-camera view allows you to see at the sides of the car also. For this type of game, especially when cop cars are chasing, I find it easier to respond that way.

I know some missions alter the other missions or (messages) you'll get. I know I ALWAYS give Ticco a ride for the 2nd mission so I do that "supercar" Miami mission. But how can I do Rite Of Passage ?? I JUST got in New York, 3 missions to choose from..

You need to do the Grand Central Station Switch mission to enable the Rite of Passage mission.

Sadly it's a game that requires two hands. So the boringness must be endured.

Sure, to you it may take more skills using Bumper camera but for me it takes a heck more skills to drive outside the car. With any game if I can't make it as realistic as possible, like to say the camera cannot be changed, I will throw it away !!
