  • that's where situational awareness comes in and the ability to make the decision split second based off visual confirmation of the target. Nothing wrong with pop up targets as long as "no shoot" targets are also used.

  • During the Arizona shooting of the congresswoman, there was a CCW that approached the scene with his gun still concealed but at the ready. Lucky for him he didn't shoot the guy with the gun, which by that time was the cop holding the gun on the shooter. Judgment is way more important than speed.

  • @aroomwithamoose15 hooah. this video didnt mention anything about "friendly" pop-up targets.

  • @fantasticHorus If a CCW shot your innocent parent, spouse or child, I doubt that you would say that. The video is absolutely correct. There may even be situations in which you don't (need to) shoot the bad guy.

  • Excellent advice....One bad decision, or one bad move and you could harm an innocent, go to jail, or simply lose your licence to carry a weapon forever....

  • @fantasticHorus I think the concern is for the other innocents rather then just yourself. A tough concept for some folks to understand.

  • great point.

  • Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
