  • Great Video, my screen is not cracked but if I dont put pressure on the back of the screen it shows all white, if I do put pressure then the screen shows perfectly fine, got any idea about that? Loose screen connector maybe? Thought I would ask before I take it apart,

  • @ISLAMATRON loose connection, bad connector, or bad video cable in that order.

  • hi, I replaced my screen. It's working fine but now my webcam isn't working or can't be found. Any thoughts on what I did wrong or how to fix it. I have an Acer D257 13450.

  • @soul2dacore please check that the webcam cable is properly connected to the webcam circuit board

  • @ScreenSurgeons --- I checked it and that was the problem. It's working now. Thanks much!

  • thanx much for the vid, this was helpful bunches, lol, again, thank you

  • @LDW3COV ok, this indicates that the problem is with motherboard or the video cable rather than the screen

  • @ScreenSurgeons i tried the old screen but thats black too

  • @LDW3COV please double check that the connector is inserted properly and if that doesn't work, try the old screen.
