Delaware Speedway is a half-mile paved race track that is one of the oldest continuously operating tracks in Canada. It is located a few minutes west of London, Ontario northeast of Delaware, Ontario.
The Great Canadian Weekend consisted of a 3 day event which began on Friday Sept. 3, 2010 and ended on Sunday Sept. 5, 2010. Fridays schedule included NASCAR Late Models, Delaware Super Stock, and the King of the Hill Finale.
Saturday's showcase was that of the Demar Aggregates Trucks, POWERADE Modified, and the Transmission Direct Enduro All Stars - where Jermiah Rabideau mustered a dramatic come from behind win after spinning out at the start and being a full lap down in dead last.
Sunday's Great Canadian 200″ was an all day event and is the most prestigious race of the year at Delaware Speedway which pays $10,000 to the winner and $35,000 in total prize money. The day began in the late morning with time trials and then qualifying. There was an autograph session before the 200 lap race in which Steve Robblee was the eventual winner.
