Fox News cuts American child for thanking Russian troops

A 12-year-old American girl visiting relatives during the conflict in South Ossetia has thanked Russian soldiers for saving her from the Georgian attack. However, America's Fox News attempted to cut her and her aunt off air.

Biased? yes absolutely. But what did they expect? that they would give all the time she wanted to a lady who can barely speak English to sputter out some personal claim based on no inside knowledge of the political events happening behind closed doors. The interviewer did let her make a statement and he was clear that time was limited but she wasn't up to the task. No case here sorry.

Georgia and other Caucasus countries joined the former USSR independently and separately.

Georgian Joseph Stalin expanded the territory of Georgia at the expense of neighboring Ossetia and Abkhazia.

From this it follows that Ossetia and Abkhazia have a right to self-determination. And to call these countries as part of Georgia is a crime!

Journalist ethics? Strange how freedom of speech isn't so great in Russia (Which funds Russia Today) where protestors and journalists are arrested some even "disappearing". It's just worse than simple hypocrisy since Russia is worse than America when it comes to freedoms/journalism.
