Every day, the same routine. Its 11 oclock in the morning in a council flat on the Walworth Road in London. In two hours time, as is normal, three Irish men will have consumed six cans of beer, fifteen crackers with spreadable cheese, ten pink biscuit wafers and one oven cooked chicken with a strange blue sauce. In two hours time, as is normal, five people will have been killed.

Dinny and his sons Sean and Blake act out as farce the day Dinny left Ireland to live in London. Complete with high octane performances, Dinny and the boys effortlessly combine frantic costume changes and side-splitting hilarity to deliver a tender insight into what happens when we become trapped in the stories we tell ourselves about our lives.

Farce it may be, but for these three men locked in this room it must count as the truth this story we play is everything as a shield against all that threatens from outside.

Internationally renowned theatre company, Druid, have wowed audiences everywhere with this brilliant play by acclaimed writer, Enda Walsh.
