Namco X Capcom - Final Attack!

This is the final attack on the Namco X Capcom game. It's a scripted battle (you cannot interrupt) showing the demise of 99.

Reiji and Xiaomu also use this attack on the stage before this one, to "defeat" Saya. Guess it wasn't strong enough the first time.

Also, if someone dares to translate what Reiji and Xiaomu are saying during the attack, I would be grateful.

The BGM is "Path to Certain Victory". It's track 62 on the Sound Test.

Minami Omi. She voiced Ruri in Nadesico, and Meredy in Tales of Eternia.

Seems that still nobody translated what they're saying during the attack. I don't speak Japanese, but I do know that they usually quote the flow of Chinese Elements for their attack. They mix up who says what a lot, and sometimes vary the exact words (which they probably would do for the final battle), but it's basically:

"Wood fuels Fire!"

"Fire creates Earth!"

"Earth bears Metal!"

"Metal carries Water!"

"Water feeds Wood!"

"Together as one..."

"SHINRA BANSHOU!" ("All of Creation!")

What's with the Final Boss' name? It's literally named 99.

Notice that the main characters and villain (Reiji, Xiaomu, Saya) all carry firearms and blades? It's like they equip themselves for both long-range and close-range combat in mind.

And that is fucking cool.
