Michael Repoulis, Composer has been practicing Central Fugal Exercises on a swivel chair since January 26, 2007. This particular exercise was originally designed by Michael Repoulis to enhance and better a sense of balance, also to get a sense of the centre of gravity of the rotation. The exercises consist of about thirty movements done during the course of spining and is performed for the duration of thirty minutes a day.

  • Thank you for the nice comment. I am glad to hear that you find the exercise interesting. The name of this particular exercise corresponds with the nature of the movements and the coordination in relation to the rotation. Body and the swivel become one. It is as natural as a simple walk.

Though this stage can only be reached gradually with support and with great caution.

    Enjoy!

  • I did an online search for my family name and this is a video that popped up. I understand that Central Fugal is playing off of centrifugal, but I was just curious to know if there were any other reasons for the choice the name. Interesting exercise though!
