  • Everybody likes something different, some people are Hop Heads and love the High Alpha up in your face Hop Profile, others not so much. IPA's have taken a while to grow on me. The beer you brewed sounds kinda like a toned down Sierra Nevada Pale Ale with the all Cascade Hops. Looks Great to me. If you let it cellar a few months the Hops will fade out a bit and you'll taste more of the malt (more Balance). Or you can trade them out for something you like better. Happy HBW. Cheers!

  • @pookanc Yea I was wondering if Sierra Nevada used the Cascade as I can definitely taste the same flavor in mine and I don't in many of the other brands I have tried.

  • I noticed if you leave the hops in the fermenter more than seven days, you would get grassy flavors, let me know what you think. Cheers.

  • that looks like a great session beer. thats super clear for only being in the bottle a week.

  • yeah, munich is a base malt, it needs to be steeped. maybe the home brew store guy thought you were doing a mini mash. that or he just doesn't know what he's talking about. looks like a nice session ale though!
