I have a 1995 bmw 318i that I just purchased, I really want to put this muffler on my new dd.
Does it bolt up to stock ir would I need a downpipe as well? Just curious what its going to cost before I buy it.

HOW ARE YOU GONNA TELL HIM HE HAS THE WRONG ENGINE. I have the same car in Illinois. The US spec 98 318i has a 1.9 m44 or m43 138bhp. Chill the f*** out and leave him alone. pay attention to what you are watching before making stupid comments-@miloskujovic, @74raimond, @PS2Gameplays, etc.. NIce car man shame you sold it.

Are you still planning a turbo project? I'm doing the same, biggest problem seems to be getting hold of an exhaust manifold and fitting it all under the bonnet..

Not to be rude but don't post about things you don't know about when you obviously know nothing about BMW's.
This is my eninge, a 1.9L M44
M44 1.9 L (1896 cc/115 in³) 103 kW (138 hp) @ 6000 180 N·m (133 ft·lbf) @ 4300 6500 1996
1995-2000 318iS/ti - 1.9 L M44 I4, 140 PS (103 kW)
Both of these were copied directly from BMW engine specification charts. The 1.8L 4 cyl BMW used was the M42 engine and in 96-00 they bumped it to a 1.9L engine they called the M44.

i know man, i got the same engine in my 318ti ;)
i looked it up @realoem, only the US-model 318i sedan has a m44 engine. here in europe, the 318i sedans have an m43 engine. except the 318is sedan ClassII limited edition.. now you know better

Ahh gotcha. I was about to say I am 100% positive its a M44 so I dunno what this guy is talking about! Lol. Now I know the M43 is in Europe and you know the M44 is in America ha.
