"The Train" - Excerpts - St Aidan's N.S. Monasteraden, Co. Sligo

St Aidan's N.S., Monasteraden has put together a film telling the story of the Ballaghaderreen-Kilfree Train. A fine piece of work. Copies of DVD are available. A few excerpts are included here. The actual film is 32 minutes long and features some rare footage of the train, including its last journey in 1963 as well as interviews with people who worked on the train, the railway and others who have fond memories of this great community service.
