Coming back to this song-resonates even more than it did before. Has to be one of the most honest, raw, open pieces of music ever. Makes me wonder if the other members and Herb Herbert ever actually LISTENED to this? No one could ever put this out there without being sincere. It is just too deeply personal. Maybe if Herbert, especially, actually listened, instead of just running his mouth, he might not persist in being so vicious. But then I guess ego interferes with the sense of hearing...

I wish the guys could have waited for their brother to get healthy - but oh well - they truly are the losers here. Journey without Steve Perry will never really be Journey again. We all wish Steve would come back but probably never will.

@latinagrl72 Absolutely! Driving me crazy that he has been working on this stuff for years! He is too much of a perfectionist! Sade, who is older than he is, just put out an album after 10 years and it went to number one. Does he honestly think that his wouldn't, too! We know he can still sing from his collaborations with other people over the last 10 years. Come on Steve, if not for us, for your own peace of mind!
