amazingly stupid comment. Global climate change does not mean continously rising temperatures on every measurment station on every day in the world, but a rising of global average temperature over the course of years.
These extreme winter storms and anomalies are, although constituting just one winter season in the datasets, in perfect accordance with the El Niño-La Niña phenomenons. There are more "extreme" winters ahead of us due to the disturbance of oceanic streams.
Here in the desert 90 miles west of LA there has been over the annual amount in the last month. Lots of tiny little tremblers have been happening. Who knows what happens next?
Ignore the naysayers. Global Warming could lead to a second Ice Age. Its due to the extra carbon in the atmosphere. First we will have terrible hot summers. Then bam one day we get such a bad winter that the northern flow causes fluctuations in ocean currents and then we are fucked another Ice Age. Oh and thats the best scenario we can hope for is another Ice Age. Unless you would like it to tilt toward the hot side.
oh my gosh...that poor lady who lives near L.A. had her house FILLED near the roof with mud. Wow... :(
