Thank you for posting the information how the George Baker Selection got started and the uploading the nice ending of the song.The spring of 1970 was tough in the U.S with The Kent State and Jackson State Killings plus the Augusta Georgia riots so about 3-4 minutes of a little happiness from a neat song was needed then and the George Baker Selection provided it.

@CitySkin09 Agreed. This one of the most genius song choices ever put to film. You can give Tarantino a lot of shit, but not when it comes to music. It sounds like the greatest wedding band song ever recorded. The rest of their music SUCKS. But, who cares...this song is immortal.

I was at Dag Hammarskjold Junior High School when this song came out in 1970. It was a great song then and is a great song now.

I was always amazed by groups such as the GEORGE BAKER SELECTION and
LOS BRAVOS, [from Spain], to compose and arrange music -in English-which
made the TOP-40 play-lists of radio stations throughout this country.
Listeners enjoyed the music bcause it was just plain good, period.
