Little Green Bag is from 1969 and was the debut single for George Baker Selection.

In 1970, surprised everyone in the Netherlands to become a top hit in the U.S.

There after followed the rest of the world join chorus to Little Green Bag.

In 1992 came the movie Reservoir Dogs, which was a huge susses worldwide and so was Little Green Bag was used to Tittle song in the movie.

It's probably a bit of a complex of George Baker in Holland. Paloma Blanca is his biggest success and, as he is known for. But Little Green Bag will be counted as one of the largest and most brilliant songs from the last century. Even in Denmark, where it really was not a hit.

This is perhaps what the Germans mean by the stupid Danes, when they mention the stupid Danes.

  • You can't help but walk down the street like the coolest motherfucker on Earth when this pops up in your MP3 player...

  • I was always amazed by groups such as the GEORGE BAKER SELECTION and

LOS BRAVOS, [from Spain], to compose and arrange music -in English-which

made the TOP-40 play-lists of radio stations throughout this country.

Listeners enjoyed the music bcause it was just plain good, period.

  • Thank you for posting the information how the George Baker Selection got started and the uploading the nice ending of the song. The spring of 1970 was tough in the U.S with The Kent State and Jackson State Killings plus the Augusta Georgia riots so about 3-4 minutes of a little happiness from a neat song was needed then and the George Baker Selection provided it.

  • One of the coolest song's ever put to vinyl..

  • @CitySkin09 Agreed. This one of the most genius song choices ever put to film. You can give Tarantino a lot of shit, but not when it comes to music. It sounds like the greatest wedding band song ever recorded. The rest of their music SUCKS. But, who cares...this song is immortal.

  • I was at Dag Hammarskjold Junior High School when this song came out in 1970. It was a great song then and is a great song now.
