The wasps made this huge nest in a few days on our solar panels. Not something we want hanging around much longer. I will have to get some wasp killer and spry the nest. They can be fairly aggressive.

What do they make their nest out of?

@lulujuan1991 These wasps make their nests out of wood and other plant fibers. They chew it up and mix it with their saliva forming a paper type material.

those look aweful big for wasps--or are they hornets?

@Flexmeister as far as I can tell these are wasp. The hornets in our area are mostly black with a white stripe and no yellow.
