Kingdom Hearts II Pal 60 Hz - First try

Here is my first vid of KH2, PAL version (French) in 60 Hz mode.
As you can see, there is a huge black space at the top, because I have only used my Swap Magic in NTSC mode with my original game. Now I must create a bakcup with a Y correction.
Note : the fluidity difference between real NTSC and mine is bigger in KH1 than in KH2.

why aren´t ALL tv´s NTSC?

it would be a lot better i mean.PAL is so...lame

@dontnou3 : Actually, KH2's video speed is the same in PAl than in NTSC, despite it's still 50 Hz. Some frames are "skipped" (probably 10/60, to decrease to 50 frame/s).

And there are peole who say that a good 50 Hz is better than a NTSC. I've already been to read that, ;-)

The version sold in Great Britain should be in PAL format.

@uchiha203, that's not the reason at all. I had the game converted to NTSC and the sound was all wrong. Then I used Y-fix 1.7 and it still had the screen wrong but when I used it on an HDTV it worked! then I used another HDTV and the screen was off a bit..so I ended up burning 3 copies.. one with regular PAL, another one with NTSC patch (with Yfix) and another one with Y-fix but only for HDTV. LOL! Complicated desu!

@NeCacaluXuxultic oh i see, good for you buddy, yea sometimes its just the TV. maybe ur tv is not compatible with PAL games

@uchiha203, I solved it...it turns out it was the type of TV that was the problem..... that explains EVERYTHING! When I was in EL Salvador..the game worked perfectly (the one that was patched but still had the black lines) and I did not know why and when I came to the USA the screen was shit.. I did not understand why.... now I know. hhehe you need to patch it with Y-fix 1.07 and try it. If the screen is the same then use a different type of TV.

Oh i get ur point..crap ive got my KH2 just now..its in spanish language..arggh
