@K1NGRHYZ The monitory does get slightly darker, but not entirely noticable, and if you don't already have your brightness turned all the way up it's easily solved. But as far as picture quality goes, as far as I can tell, no loss what so ever.

@TacticalTeabagging Does it effect the quality of the monitor when you split the stream?

@HDxBeasley I love you to.

HDMI too?

@JDMLukas you'd need to replace the TV tuner I've shown with somthing similar to it but with HDMI. Problem is just a quick search for one with HDMI passthrough and the cheapest ones are like $160. You may as well just buy an HDPVR. You could probably find an HDMI to composite, but that would eliminate the point of needing one at all as you could just use the composite xbox cable. Sorry.

hey there, i notice you have 2 monitors for this set up. my question is, if i only use 1 monitor but have a vga switch, to switch between my computer and xbox, is it still possible to do this set up? while still having my vga switch so I am still able to switch between the two.

@Kbawse Yeah, it will work fine with just one monitor, the only downside you'll have is having to switch back and forth to start and stop recording. But switching back and forth wont effect the recording at all.
