I know someone who was raised in a US orphanage. It was small & the kids were treated well according to the man who grew up there. He has even stayed in close contact w/the director, the closest person to a parent he had. But even this man has been married several times, can`t hold dwn a job, struggles w/alcoholism, can`t manage $, has trouble w/relationships, thinks of suicide. The dir had his own family so he could only give so much to so many hurting kids. Plus he had admin. wk to do.
