@juxtapositioning the great thing about poetry is, it can mean any fucking thing you want it to be. That's your interpretation and of course that's was given. Try looking beyond the surface. Oh, and don't say "it's not hard to understand at all"...it makes you look like a douche'

@karuic It's a depiction of life as a whole, the general misery of people in general. The holidays are not always so holly and jolly. Nor are they always a way to celebrate.

Of all the holidays you forgot the most prolific: Kids eat free day at Denny's. The unoficial white trash holiday that happens once a week. The day that every flip flopped tank topped coupon wielding nascar fan deicdes to go eat. Ahhh I can still remember the tips or lack there of as if it were yesterday. 12 tops with one adult and 11 heathens, "Is it kids eat free day?" they ask as if they were not quite sure. Ahhh memories.....
You amaze me.
That's about all I'm capable of expressing eloquently at the moment.
