This was all so insulting to him. Using the cardboard cut outs, old footage, splicing, editing, using that "Bruce Li"...lord if only he could've lived, Game of Death would've been one of his best.

@WarriorBoy They did NOT use Bruce Li. He declined to take part in the fiasco. Instead, three stand-ins were used. Also, the most insulting part of the theatrical G.O.D was that there was 40 minutes of priceless footage and they chose to use only 11 minutes of it! See "Game of Death Revisited" for the most complete footage.

@MusicEd1: It might have been slightly less of a blow to his ideas if they had at least attempted to actually recreate the plot Bruce Lee had written and intended (with any blanks filled in based on what he had written) as opposed to pulling something out of their asses. Still, the ultimate solution would've been coming clean about his death, making a documentary, explaining the details of his death, and then including the final footage. In the pre-digital age, fans would've appreciated that.

The footage filmed wasn't enough to make a complete movie. The edited video of trying to create Lee's original Game of Death with what footage was found, only made a 40 mintue film all of which would of taken place near the end.

Game of Death II was a decent film in my opinion. No where near as good as Bruce's other films though.
