Tim was with him on lot of the tour this summer (2009) I saw them at Vanderbilt , the crowd went NUTS when Tims face first flashed on the big screen. They knew they were about to witness a STELLAR guitar preformance along with a world class band. It was an amazing show.

Amanaya doesn't have a meaning. Many of the words in this song as well as other rifs that Dave likes to tangent off into at times do not have a meaning. Rather these come from the ancient songs of San people of South Africa. The songs of the San people are said to have no "meaning" in their words because they are songs that have been sung since before people had words."
