I'll reply to you and all others who dislike this video:
first of all, I do this video after one week I buy the 4D. I never used a controller before, nobody in my town or nobody who I know help me to discovery this "beast". I'm italian, english isn't my language. Traktor's and 4D's manual wasn't in italian. So, if anybody don't like what I do 2 years ago, please excuse me, go to others demo videos and please VAFFANCULO (everyone translate in his language). Sorry for my poor english

@organic79 Those are useless too... everyone on youtube uses a 2700 dollar mixer the same way they can use a 400 dollar mixer....
Some of us use it for more in depth uses like.. actual live sets... using all the midi controls... There are very few of those on youtube unfortunately

@TheAlbinojew You have read correctly sir, the jog wheels cannot be used to scratch, however the 4D is scratch certified with traktor pro/duo. So if you spend some bucks and get some 1200s/1210s you'll be running like a beast :D

@GrafPsychofarmaca I believe i read somewhere that the jog wheels are not designed to be able to scratch with.

@GrafPsychofarmaca what comes with the Xone 4 in the box? What softwares could younuse it with? Does it work with Virtual DJ OR any of those?

Hi, when I bought it, A&H doesn't give any software. I think actually is the same. Indeed you can use any software who work with MIDI protocol, like Traktor (any release), Virtual Dj, Serato or Ableton Live, just waste some time to assign any function to relative knob, slider or switch. Have fun... cheers.
