This is as the Video was originally released, far as I can see. I suspect everyone one of us interpret these songs and words differently - no exception here. Myself I see this song referring to getting Divorced - after 20 years so I am at this end - a heavy thing. The liquor ain't helpin' much.... but it ain't hurtin' either. Nuff' said.
