@CODMW2iownuat CO2 Dragsters don't want down force. They use propulsion that doesn't transfer through the wheels. Therefore, the wheels are just extra friction. To obtain maximum speeds you almost want the car to float down the track with minimal weight pressing on the wheels.

@MrFugbuddy you don't want the car to fly off the ground, you want it to stick to the ground, the whole point of spoilers, but I agree this particular spoiler is a bad design, need to make it smaller, more rounded on the bottom, flat on the top

i took special care when designing my car for school: the brick mobile
it was a 2X4 with wheels and a hole for the co2 cartridge
i lost.....

Why the spoiler, in our school we add wing foils to our cars which effectivly makes our cars fly off the ground a little. The traction is not an issue because its a straight track with a co2 cartirage for propulsion
