KEITH O'BRIEN

Singer/songwriter I'm from Glasnevin and I've been playing and writing songs for at least seven years now. I have studied music in Ballyfermot rock school which has a long tradition of musicians who have made a strong name for themselves in the worlds music industry. I try to gig at least once or twice a week. I've already gigged in venues such as; Crawdaddy, Whelans, Eamon Doorans, Voodoo lounge, Axis Center and Hard rock cafe with the peanut club, the village, Bankers, Break for the border, among others. Lately I've been gigging with Dublins fm104 playing in front of large crowds in shopping centers around the city for there breakfast show . I've had airplay on fm104 and 2fm where I did a live interview and played live with great response from the public. I write all my own songs and got a great response from top names in the Irish music industry such as Mundy, Paddy Casey, Dave Kelly-fm104-and Glen Hansard. Lately I've been jamming and gigging with the superhumanbeings and the lonely schizophrenic . They're new and up coming bands with amazing talent and amazing tunes giving me lots of inspiration and idea's start recording on some old and new stuff with red fox productions on the 1st of March. I'm getting excited about recording and working on my stuff in the studio. Hopefully by next month ill have a few new tunes up to put past your ears.
