Nana the Border Collie is sure enjoying herself this winter! In this short video, I have included a few old tricks and a few of her newer ones, such as "Stick 'em Up!", "Go Crazy", and "Shame".

All videos were filmed in December and January. No video is sped up or reversed. Nana really is performing every trick in this video.
All of Nana's training is done exclusively with the use of positive reinforcement and clicker training.

Special thanks to Josh Woodward for the use of the song "Are You Having Fun?"

  • is her name realy nana

  • @prabhat2254 Yes.

  • Such a beautiful dog! At the risk of being repetitive, I have to ask--how the heck did you teach her to walk on her front paws?

  • @exhumedrhetoric I taught Nana the walking handstand using shaping and clicker training. I first taught Nana to place her back legs against a wall, then I later encouraged her to lift her back legs up without it. Once she learned to stand on her front legs independantly, I rewarded her for taking steps while in the handstand position. It is a very long and complicated training process that requires much patience. I plan to make a tutorial for this trick in the future. :)

  • wow i wish my border collie could stand on his front paws ur dog is so cute and i love her to bits, i love my dog to bits too, is Nana is pure bred? my border collie is :)

  • @PBgrls12 Yes, Nana is a purebred Border Collie. :)

  • Since she can do this from a distance she'd be great in movies!

  • There such great dogs, so smart and they love to please you!

  • question. well first: love your videos! but how did you train her to stay in a beg for a while? my dog can beg, and we have been working on it on and off for a couple of weeks, but i can get her to stay for a while unless treat is noticable. not even saying 'stay" helps, at least yet. any advice??? love your dog! :D

  • You should make a ton of tutorial videos. I would love to learn these tricks for my 3 month old border collie.

  • Wow the last act was so gorgeous, and it was so cool how you guy appeared black-lit. :D

  • i love nana so much !
