You're talking FIFA, this is FIFA Manager, which is much harder in my opinion.

my team's confidence is very low, what can I do? Talking to players only raises their morale, not confidence, which is a weirdo in my opinion.

For fatigue players u need to hire 2 coaches (not including urself. First, go to the "training groups" n u will see 3 groups. For the first coach let him handle defenders including DM. The second coach will handle midfielders and the rest. For urself let it be the resting group. so, whenever your player go below energy 60 move them to you. But for the midfield, strikers and defense training do not put any recovery in their training. and for player that you cannot, look at their status

in your team there MUST be a winger for at least LM or RM and your team there must be a playmaker not more than one. and defender cannot be attack minded. or else they will alway run up and attack. choose a ball winner or defense minded. and strikers have to be targetman and penaltybox. the players have to link to each other.. e.g. playermaker and penalty do well together. and also, u have to keep on changing tactics when u tink that your team cannot bring the ball forward.. i hope it helps!

but in fifa manager08, you can't ask your DM to mark only the defender are allowed to. ok i guess your suggestion of letting one defender mark the strikers is right. thanks for the comment!
