I have visited Hawaii on 3 vacations, Always enjoy the frirendly people and the beautiful tropical beauty of all the 4 island areas, esp. Kanapali, Maui, the drive to Hana, and the Kauai.Island. I hope to return again soon. These Islands are definitely my favorite travel destination.

I am hoping that we, my wife and me and our children, can visit the Big Island - Hawaii, for the Merrie Monarch festival-competition, perhaps as early as 2010 - this coming year! We were last in Hawaii in September 2008 - Maui. We married in Maui in 1996.
We live in the east coast - mainland in a beautiful area rife with wildlife, etc.. We married in Maui and we've enjoyed Maui and Kauai. Here's hoping for the ability for more frequent visits to the Islands of Aloha.

I composed the lyrics of this song with Lopaka Hoopii from the group Hoomalie. It is called "Ka Hale Niu O Ka Pali" and it honors the home of the Gamble family of Honomu, Hawaii. This version is sung by the group Loea.
