@gregriv69 Hmmmm, Yes, the pole did shift but, it did not shift enough to cause concern for general bearings.

Very good. I was just thinking earlier to ask you, if you could possibly do some videos on navigating, with or without a compass. When and if you have time, that is. Thanks!

@4micaman Thanks for your input. I do have a couple vids out on this topic but, I have more to cover. My latest is "Disoriented in the bush" which gives a tip or two on getting out of a lost situation. Good sugestion.

It depends on the position of the sun in the sky but, 10 or 15 minutes will give a distinct line to follow.
